This is my brown "Viti" bear that I painted with white patches like I had in my early years with vitiligo. It was very therapeutic for me. I even wrote a little poem for her:
Hi, my name is Viti
I really am quite witty!
White clouds from up Above,
Came down on me with love.
Is she not the cutest little bear, my mascot by my computer.
You would not know I have vitiligo now, but I do, complete vitiligo. It took many years, from 9 to 50+ years. Perhaps you may know someone with vitiligo. I am an advocate and member of several vitiligo support groups online. I know the struggles and I understand. I am so much more than my vitiligo, I am a grateful and creative woman. Let's talk!
