  • If stress makes it worse -  I should be as white as freshly fallen snow lol or perhaps worse yet - transparent - p0Of!! Invisible man.....but with my luck certain body parts would still be visible.....

  • I recently have heard STRESS..makes it WORSE????... omg...nooo wonder lol
  • Ya...even"Docs"...don't they have such a WARMTH to us w vitiligo...ughh
  • When I was first diagnosed (aka they flicked the switch): the doctor let out a gaspy "intereessting" and simultaneously her nurse gasped "oh my god" ....it was just classic. I thought (having worked in hospitals for years)  ok...now..... I'm "interesting"....clinically interesting that is...

  • That is EXACTLY...when really find out..i had this stuff...at a bar...i walked UNDER A BLACK LIGHT....ughh...
  • Thanks Janie, Very kind of you. Welcome to Vitiligo Friends! I've been so crazy busy I haven't been on here much at all. Hopefully that will change!

  • I cant believe what a black light can do.   wow doesn't look like you at all.... That does change anyway your very good looking.

  • I don't know for sure. I went to a party store and bought a bulb for $10 that fits in a regular light socket. I wasn't sure how much area was "exposed". The day I was diagnosed, the nurse in the room literally gasped an "Oh my God" and the Doctor said "Wow, very interesting!". So now..... I was finally "interesting" - lol! Be careful what you wish for :) Of course then, I was curious to see just how "interesting" I was!

  • I've wanted to buy a black light for awhile now and try this, i've also heard that the black light shows area's that have not yet turned, is it true??
