Those plastic tagaderm bandages are AMAZING! It will even help your skin to heal faster under there. You'd think that it would stick to the wound, but with fresh skin injury there is so much moisture from the healing going on that it doesn't. I use them to directly over my kids skinned knees, etc. They don't always stay on if there is too much seeping. As the skin starts to heal I usually change out the plastic sheets and apply a little bit of antibacterial ointmentment to make sure that it doesn't stick to any sore spots. A genius invention!
