Hi!

I am new to the site and would like to thank everyone for being so welcoming!  My precious 8 year old son was diagnosed with vitiligo last June.  I have been completely stressed and completely consumed with all things vitiligo.  I am so worried about his future...will he be happy, will he ever have a girlfriend, get married, etc.  Would love to hear stories about how vitiligo has effected your lives.

I'm so glad to have others who understand what it's like!!!!

Hi I'm Cyndy and I've lived with vitiligo since I was 8 years old and I'm now 54! I did trisoralen treatment with sunlight in my early 20's which repigmented the areas that were then on my knees and ankles. However, after pregnancy (which the dermatologist said created stress) theses areas lost pigment and new ones were created on my hands, wrists, and elbows.
