Wow impressive resume! And yes a dating site for people with Vit sounds great. I hate to sound shallow but if it gave me a leg up on the competition to meet a lovely woman like yourself I wouldn't hesitate. I have difficulty meeting people too but don' think the vit has played much of a role. Fully clothed most people can' tell unless they notice my neck because my face is nearly completely depigmented. At the same time, I understand the impact it has on many people. I've recovered from life threatening trauma a couple times - so I' m able to look at it in perspective. I feel pretty dam blessed.To me - it makes me look older and I miss my old color. and lol I ain't getting any younger. Just looking for a great woman to grow old with. Luckily, I am in a relationship with a really wonderful lady who tolerates my quirkiness! (For the past several months at least)
Im a very confident...woman. ..ive done pageants. ..televised in 90's...aloooot of PR...in my days...toured w a couple tribute groups...a dancer tap jazz ballet...17 yrs...so A LIFE OF BEING IN SPOTLIGHT...and even twenty yrs ago...a Swimwear model...ya....and NOW...THIS???. For me...it was very tough coming to grips with...now im ok w ME somewhat...its finding a man...yes im lonely....to be one with...preferably one with this skin disorder too...that's not seeming easy to find...they need a free date site......badly
Well, please don't let it worry you too much. I don't. In fact, before I ever got diagnosed myself - one of the most beautiful woman here in town (and I am in a University town) has Vit. It takes nothing away from her at all!. And it doesn't take anything away from you. Myself, I'm pretty much at the point where If I don't get burned I don't care much about it. I do burn very easily though. I used to have a darker olive skinned complexion. I do tons of public speaking and I am usually more concerned about the stains on my shirt from lunch lol.(much more of a problem :)

It is spreading on me pretty much all over. My best friend is my hat. Lol.
