i am myself a medical student lolzzz..........your hair wont change pigmentation because you would be using the drug on skin..........its like a color wherever you apply it.......... only that would be coloured........so the effect of cream mostly containing monobenzone would to depigment the skin on which it is applied...........no harm to your hair roots because you apply any there..........i am at a stage where the disease is reversing............well i ll tell you details next week as i m a little busy with exams..........
If all my depigmented spots were combined, then at least 50% of me would be vitiligo. However, I have been a little hesitant about the prospect of depigmentation as I'm not sure if it might cause me to lose the pigment in my hair/eyebrows/eyelashes/lips. In the summer, it seems no matter what I do my skin insists on trying to tan, and by mid-july, my spots are quite visible; it's appealing to simply have purely depigmented skin, esp as my vit keeps spreading. Just curious, have you chosen depigmentation or researched it much?
bt looking at this pic one can hardly say u hav spots.......even your skin tone is so fair that spots cant be differentiated..........however dipigmentation is for people whose more than 50% body is covered with spots..........so is it in your case......???
actually, i just used gallons of sunscreen and avoid the midday sun as much as possible in the summer.... there area few little spots visible on my neck and face in this pic. ^_^ i'm currently considering depigmentation however, so I don't have to fight the uneven skin.
