I am First Nations from a small port city, i work as an electrician at a shipping facility and for the most part i am happy with an optimistic outlook:) I like lite work outs and long walks, i love art and learning new things and travel. Strange things intrigue me, i like shows like Ghost Hunters, The Nostradamus Effect, UFO Hunters, etc...But i also like How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Outsourced, The Office, 30 Rock as well. Some of my fav bands are Sytem of a Down(i really connect with em), Nirvana, The Black Eyed Peas rock as well....

    Hello Douglas, how are you doing these days? Thanks for the birthday wishes, we had a really nice day, my moms bday is one day after mine. I’m good, it was 107 again today of pure HOT dry heat! Miserable! and my vit doesn’t do well in heat like this. I have been inside for a few days but tomorrow its back to hot nb uvb treatment. How is your weather? Did it finally warm up? If not; come out this way and you will want to go home or far from this heat. Take Care

    Helloooooo !!!! 16 million vs 1500 ?? :) May be "clan" was not the right word to use !!!! ))))) But all Sinhala people belong to the "lion" clan !!!! Sinha means lion !!!!! 

     

    Anyway, what I wanted to say was .... good luck with Protopic !!!!! And yes, let me know how it works !!!! BUT, if possible go for the OINTMENT, not the cream. I use the ointment and I have heard it is more effective than the cream. I think because the ointment "stays" in the skin longer than the cream !!!! Take care !!!!

    Douglas, how are you doing? I’m glad you enjoyed the photos and my profile. I find this site to be very comforting to me because I do not personally know anyone other than myself with vitiligo. So this has really been healing for me and I hope you return to "Kali" it really is nice here but can get costly at times.  Well; enjoy the weekend. Oh, have you ever done any vit treatment? If so; what was it and did it work?

    Hey Douglas !!!! Glad you liked the pics. Well, I belong to the Sinhala "clan" !!! There are about 16 million of us. How many in your clan ??

     

    I saw you asked about Protopic for face. I think this is a good idea. Protopic is known to work best for vitiligo on the face. I use it too on my face, and got favorable results. Use it twice a day for minimum 3 - 4 months, and hopefully you will get good results too. 

     

    I saw your pics too, and they are very very nice !!! You have a nice family !!! Take care !!!
