    I am in St Petersburg and was wondering if the xtrac treatments continued to work for you.  Read some of your blog but was quite a number of years ago that you posted on it.  If it has been several years, have you maintained pigment from the treatments?

    It makes me so sad to hear that. I will do all that I can to fight this, if they deny me I'm going to my doctors office and asking if he knows of the insurance company's that approve the Xtrac Laser. Whats the point of insurance if we cant rely on them to help up when we are sick?? My doctor said I have a higher chance of getting skin melanoma in my affected area's and I wrote an entire article on that. I wish I could open the eyes to these people and show them what this disease does. Thank you for replying :)

    Hello, I was looking at your blog and I was just wondering if you could inform me on how your appeal went with your insurance company, I was mid-treatment with Xtrac Laser also when they cut me off, just as my pigmentation was reappearing!! I just finished sending off all my paperwork and my appeal letter, how did your case turn out?

    Hi Essie, you may want to hook up with Stella from AVRF-American Vitiligo Research Foundation as she is very active and is a great volunteer for the cause. They are having their annual conference soon. Check out www.avrf.com
