  hi darcel, sorry havent been in touch for a while , i have been working away,i hope you are well, can u offer me any advice on de-pigmentation, the vitiligo has spread to my neck and started on my face, you know darcel i was sitting in my car a few weeks ago, my mate had gone tothe shop to get us some cold drinks, a white lad and his girl friend walked passed, the lad made some nasty comments about my skin, im a grown man darcel, but i was so hurt inside i cant explain it to u, that is why i have decedied that i dont want to look like this anymore.

  Dear Darcel when I was 19 years old my Vitiligo first started and because of it I stayed to myself and didn't even date or have a social life I was resigned to the fact that I would probably be a hermit and a loner and I would never have a girlfriend I actually felt like I was the elephant man or something. But all that has changed after I finally met the love of my life and I finally got married. so to all the people who think they will never be in a relationship because of their Vitiligo please understand that theirs somebody in the world for everybody and never give up on finding true love because you have Vitiligo

  You are so pretty! Never once have I contemplated depigmenting my whole body. However, looking at you I'm giving it some thought. I realize you must shield yourself from the sun more. Since my vit is sectional and has not dominated over 80% of my body I understand the derms are reluctant to do so. Although I respect the experts, I believe it should be an individual choice.
