About Me:

Hi my name is Olvin Resto. I'm 34 years old currently living in Chicago. I surround myself within the richness of Art and Expression through my Air Brushing, Painting, Photography, Photoshop, Piano playing, Music Producing, Gardening and much more. I don't know what else to say yet but that I'm so releived to have found this site. I've noticed that it's affecting me in a very possitive manner and has given me certain strengths to overcome many insecurities when the general public can be so cruel.

  • I just know that your story will possibly end with your creative art.........right.  I have added a link to one of the handbags.  I do not know if it will work or not..

  • I am happy to have made you so happy with my message to you.  I really meant what I stated.  Thanks for replying.  Have you had a chance to read my topic on the forum "Redefining Beauty – A Paradigm Shift" as well as the attachment?  My initial project for the females "Redefining Beauty" since the definition of beauty is so narrowly defined is to have the beautiful faces of females with vitiligo, burn survivors, etc. In purchasing a handbag, the individual would read that person's story.  I want to broaden the awareness and education, share stories of confidence and triumph, but this time from the male perspective.  I feel that women will truly love a handsome male on a handbag along with the beautiful story of your journey in your own words.  This will be an amazing journey.  I will still give you a handbag with your face on it, as well as the t shirt for the campaign.  You can give it to a well deserving female.  I consider the faces on the handbag art.  You will need to provide about 3 photos for selection in jpeg format.  The photo needs to be clear with ample lighting and no black or dark backgrounds.  I will be using the handbags in fashion shows.  I really look forward to receiving the photos!!!!!  By the way I attached a pic of one of the handbags.  They young lady is a burn survivor.  If you send me a friend request, I may be able to attache a photo of one the handbags

    Thanks Lena

  • Hello Olvin. Your art is great!!!! Why can't you be know as an artist who happens to have vitiligo. Don't let vitiligo define you.  My name is Lena and I am launching a handbag line......"INVINCIBLE". You are probably asking yourself why I am telling you this. Originally I was only going to feature females who embody strength, courage and confidence to overcome adversities. In thinking about the word INVINCIBLE a bit further, men have great stories to share as well. Stories that unveil an amazing journey to where you are today. Please check out Redefining Beauty – A Paradigm Shift on the forum section.  I really hope to hear from you because I think the females would love a pic of you on their handbag along with your story.  The stories are to raise awareness, educate and help build confidence in others.  My current handbags were shown at a fashion show along with a short speech as to why I decided to start the handbag line.  The audience loved the concept as well as the handbags.  This is for a great cause.  Please contact me with any questions.  Thanks Lena

  • Not worries man . I hope that you are going to reach your internal happiness. It is out there and chasing anything is not the answer as the road is more important than the final destination. Your art is so amazing...Actually I was thinking that the faces look a bit like your face. This is one thing my art teacher told me - when artists draw faces they tend to make them look like their own face …I think I do the same thing ;-D
