The funny thing about my journey is that I have been through more strife in my adult years than ever in my childhood. I am so greatful for my childhood friends for accepting me for who I am and lifting me up and keeping me real. I can remember a few thing that they said that were ugly but I honestly mostly remember them not saying anything at all. Only after I started teaching and my Vitiligo started spreading did I ever encounter, stares, pointing and the dreaded question "what's WRONG with your skin?" That was when I started hating the word wrong and started using the word different.....we are all different and there is nothing wrong with that
Nice pics Carl.... thought phenol in hair dye triggers it more? Maybe persons like us will bother more on that.
Above it all I love my white hair more than anything else.....though it darkened on its own some two years ago, but back now and only on my right side as my Vit is segemental pattern
Sorry for the slow response. I have had issues with my hair. I dye it often! The Vitiligo actually makes it harder for the hair to hold the dye so you wind up having to dye it more often. Not really sure about the eye color though! Hope that Helps
I dont live with Vitiligo.......Vitiligo has to live with me!!!!!!!!!!
