thanks for the welcome and warm thoughts. I am at a stage in mylife where I am comfortable with this disease. As a very dear friend told me 12 years ago, "you have never been vain, why would you let this bother you now". and that has been my mantra every since. My skin does not dictate who I am...I am lucky that now there has been some repigmentation of my hands (which once looked like I was wearing white gloves, and that is no joke) so that what I have is not too terribly visible to the public.You are all very encouraging and also, reading your comments and notes, I find you to all be brave souls. thanks for all you say!
