    On the make up  issue ,well when my vit. started I used to apply make up to the ereas where the vit. is because I was very shy to walk or be seen with the vitiligo because it was in my face ,people used to constantly keep on asking what happend to your face so I started to use make up and for a man its very strange to use it I have used my wifes and sisters make up.You know how cruel some people can be sometimes.

     

    After a while I just decided Im not putting any make up on my face again because tthe vit erea must get sunlight and its strange for people to see your apearance keep on changing.

    Now I  dont use make up or try to hide myself from people.Thank God Im finish with make up  You can go to anymake up shop and ask for your colour tone.

    Hi Bridget

    ALOPECIA you can use shompoo is called Clobetasol or Pluocinonide ,you can only treat it.Like me I have Psirisis and the vitiligo I can only treat it theres no cure for it yet,but hold on there on pray I believe there will be a cure soon,we are living in a age where great break throughs.

    Hi Bridget

    My vit isnt that bad at all just around my right eye you can notice it a little.I went to Groote Schuur Hospital a veiw years ago and I met a wonderful Sister Du Toit from the Dermotology ward.She gives you counciling and kind of prepare you for your journey living with Vitiligo shes really wonderfull.She recommended that I must use some ointment that they tryed out on patience but due to my work ,I lost contact with her.

     

    You said yours was not so obvious ,some times mine comes and goes its now the under control ,I really think that stress plays a major roll in the spread of you vitiligo and lack of sleep,could be wrong.
