About Me:

I am married with two daughters and my Vitiligo was just diagnosed. However, I have had minor symptoms of Vitiligo since my teen years. I am a Network Consultant who likes to jet ski, water ski exercise and golf plus an avid football and baseball fan.

    Hi Tom, Thanks for the response. I had the same greasy effect with protopic..So I stopped using it since then and started taking vitamins to see what happens The best cover up so far has been Neutrogena Sunless Micromist Airbrush Medium which is cheap (around $8) and more effective than chromelyn...in the meantime just getting used to my spreading spots..

    Hi Tom, had you have any positive effects with protopic? The FL sun during the summer make my spots more visible. I just try to cover them up but sometimes is difficult..

    Hey Tom !!!! Yes, 3 weeks was not enough to see any result. 3 months is more like it !!!!! I applied Protopic twice a day and it took me about 100 days before I saw a change !!! My vit was on my ears and most of it is now gone. I still have some near nostrils and on lips. At least it is not spreading. Give it another try !!!!! Don't give up !!!!

    WELCOME Tom! I was diagnosed in my late 30's. I am 38 and have some greying in my hair were I have Vit. I also looked at just for men and saw that warning also. Some people on here have used it with no problems. My isn't so bad so i haven't used but will if I need too.
