    yes, i was there with a self-supported group of young adults. we raised money to come. I def. want to come back someday, I loved India.. and it's so vast, that of course I saw a little glimpse. I'm not sure what my plans are, but graduated in elementary ed., with a passion in art, lol. So are their vit. support groups in India? or specialized counseling, especially for children and teens? now that's something I could do! art therapy for people with vit!

    thank you.. I was there with a group visiting a small orphanage in Bapatla. We also traveled around to various villages, some of them far from the main towns. We spend some time in Hyderabad aw well. I loved it very much, and could happily settle in one of the villages, the people were so hospitable and the children so beautiful.

    So we start a new race: Vitiligo! No problem, I will join!
    I know what you mean, in India people react very different on Vitiligo then here in Europe. I work with a lot of Indian people because our company outsourced their IT to WIPRO. We have some of them working overhere in EU, but I notice no different in how they approach me.
    But I know their social behaviour is way different from ours, as you can notice in our conversations. But none of them have reacted strange on my skin yet. But I can imagine thats different when you actually live in India.

    It's better to get treatment done for your vitiligo. If your vitiligo is stable then you can think of option to go for skin grafting or melanocyte transplant. You can contact me on jitendra@indian-medical-center.com if you want the treatment.
