About Me:

My name is niki, I joined to hear other people's stories of their vitiligo and how it affects their life. I have had vitiligo for 20 years, I noticed it first when I was about 6 and from there it has grown. I am a nurse in Hawaii, just moved here not too long ago to he with my family and I'm loving every minute of it! I have an identical twin sister who does not have vitiligo, ironically enough. I have tried all kinda of treatment for my vit, If you have any questions feel free to ask!

    HI, HOW ARE YOU. TO THIS DAY PEOPLE ASK ME ABOUT MY VITILIGO SKIN CONDITION. I RESPOND BY SAYING, I HAVE VITILIGO AND LEAVE IT AS THAT. I'M AT THE POINT IN MY LIFE THAT I LOVE ME AND I DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF ME. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENEDS TO MY BODY, I WILL CONTINUE TO BE A POSITIVE PERSON. HAVE A GREAT NIGHT.

    Diet and stay away from sun may help . But you know  every medicine & every diet does not

    work for every body.W.e all have to learn how to live with it.even though it is hard, very hard .I  think & I hope some good medicine might come up from Dr. poole's research.

    Hi Niki, I noticed mine at around 8 yr.At that time my grandmother got some med for me that

    did stop the spreading.But never cured. I have more than 50 yrs. Now a days I take some  multi vitamin tab and trying gluten free .I see some improvement but very slow. i tried many different treatment but not with any good result.Did u try any med that had   some kind of improvement ?.
