  Still waiting on the VA to set up an appointment with a derm.  Will keep you informed of my experience and what I learned. I am reading the labels in earnest on all my supplements and discovered that people with an autoimmune disorder should not take melatonin. I am taking a liver cleanse supplement with picrorizza (supposed to be excellent for vitiligo) and aloe plus quit taking melatonin and the white patches have stopped appearing. Not sure if that helped but it may have. What does it look like when your white patches start getting thier color back?

  We have been to several dermatologists and since we are not willing to try drugs anymore we were told by the last dermatologist to seek out an osteopath since dermatologist only prescribe drugs! The book vitiligo and nutrition by dr montes is full of good information. We have been unable to find a dr that would help us but maybe you will have better luck. We have tried the drugs and they helped the original spot but others began showing up rapidly so the last few years we have been trying to focus on elimination of the accumulated toxins and restoration of vitimins and minerals. To date all of the spots except the original one have disappeared. Be cautious what you let the dr put in/on your body. Cancer is one of the side effects of most of these drugs. Look up emilys story, her dad wrote a book about his approach which we have found very useful. Good luck to you and i hope everything works out!
