About Me:

Hi, I'am a 43 yr old single women, whom has aquired what's called vitiligo almost 3 yrs ago,or at least that's when I began to notice the skin changing color.I've become a hermit almost, not sure how to deal with this, I feel so alone sometimes, vitiligo has taken a emotional toll on my life. Finding this site I hope will open door's to better educate me. Iam hoping there's a support group of some kind near me in Costa Mesa, Ca.

    Thanks Terii and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I understand what your going through. I'm glad that you find this site to help you relate and get support. I am also new on this site. I have vitiligo for 20 yrs. I already accepted vitiligo in my life. I think the day you accept it is the day you starts to heal. I was hoping to have a support group in our area, by the way I live in Los Angeles County. Let me know if you need someone to talk to and God Bless.
