Hello my name is Tara I have been married for just over 6 years. Our family is a combined family and together we have 5 beautiful children. Hers, Mine and Ours.. We are a retired Navy family and reside in Ct. I enjoy meeting knew people. I can get a bit chatty at times especially if I have alot in common with you. My daughter Hannah has vitiligo, she is 14 years old. I learned she had it when she was 3 years old. Before I even went to the Dr. I looked up what it appreared to be and it came to a sight on vitiligo, I actually told the Dr. what she had. He thought it was dry skin. We didn't do much about it because of Hannah's age. As the years went on the vitiligo spread to many more parts of her body. About a year ago Hannah started undergoing UV treatment through our dermitologist about 6 months ago. Although it isn't certain that it will work or it will come back it was just something we would just have to see. Hannah's entire stomach was affected by vitiligo all her pigment was gone after 6 months of treatment the majority of her stomach has come back to her natural pigment, now it looks like she has freckles. She is super excited. We have stopped for the summer and will most likely start back up in the fall. We are new to this sight and would love to get to know all you as you all get to know us.
