Hi Ryan... how is it going with your phototherapy? Dermatology associates is where I was getting lazer treatmnts and am going back to continue with this. Lazer is different from phototherapy and less damaging since it only targets the white spots and not the whole body...Before the lazer treatment, I was doing phototherapy at another clinic in everett. I prefer the lazer b/c the risk of skin cancer is lower...I have'nt had too bad of an experience with dermatology, (yet lol)

Hello Ryan-thanks for the friends request! Hmm, that sounds pretty cool! I have never heard of the benaroya research institute, but come to think of it I may be interested in finding out more. If you don't mind me asking, how are you treating your skin now? As for me, I am going to start back on Pharos lazer treatment at "Dermatology Associates" in Seattle. Depending on how small or large the spots are this treatment is ideal, esp for smaller spread out spots b/c instead of standing up in a tan booth for phototherapy like I was doing; someone holds a lazer-type wand in their hand and it targets each spot individually which is better my dermatologist said for me since my spots are smaller and more spread out and the fact that you are not getting the harmful rays to every part of your body, instead it is isolated to only the spots...
