About Me:

I have segmental Vitiligo. Have had it since approx age 13. Of course I still hate it but mostly have learned to live with it and the idea that a cure may not be found in my lifetime. Lucky for me that I am fair skinned so the condition is not obvious if I work hard at staying out of the sun. I am the only person in my immediate and extended family that has it. Everyone has their cross to bear and I guess this is mine.

    Unfortunately people with vitiligo need the sun for Vit. D.
