    Hello Lisa. I am starting Sumter 1st Support Group. The 1st meeting is on Monday Jan 23 at 5:45 at the North HOPE Center 904 N Main Street Sumter.     He is using Protopic 0.1% Mon-Fri and triamcinolone cream on the weekends.  It took a good 6-7 months before we saw any results, but now we are repigmenting like crazy.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will continue to repigment.  Would love for it to go into remission so he could get through his schoolage years.  Kids can be so mean.  :(

    My son was diagnosed about a year and half ago also. We were devastated, being so unsure of what the future holds for him.  Are you doing any treatments?  We have had great success with protopic.  His knees have almost completely repigmented.  We finally just got insurance approval to purchase a NB UVB light and have started having some success with it also.  Good luck and if you ever need to talk, I am here for you.
