Hello, good to hear from you again, you have alot of support of this site. Please reach out to others as well, add more friends to your page and you will feel better about living life with vit. Your ok but just need more support, all of us have good and bad days, that’s with vit or not. But EVERY DAY is worth living. Take care and pls keep in touch.
Kgomotso, it hurts me to read that sometimes you feel like life is not worth living. I’m sorry you feel this way at times, but please reject and dismiss those feelings out of your head and mouth forever! You have every reason to live and just because you look unique doesn’t mean your life has to be less. You have friends and family all around you who love you and support from your vit friends on this site. Please reach out to all of us about how you’re feeling so we can help build your confidence because you’re not alone. You will meet the right person and people want to get to know you too, so please don’t give up, yet look up and smile at others and love yourself no matter what! Look at all of us here on this site; we are unique beautiful people with a purpose in life. Would you please consider posting your feelings in the “Forum” area so that you can see just how many of us are here supporting you? Hugs to you my friend. Please feel free to email as well.
Hello Kgomotso, I have my good days and my ok days but no bad days. I am accepted by my friends, family, co workers and employees. It’s like they don’t even see my vit. In my community where I shop, people are use to seeing me and it is what it is..... But at least once or twice a week, I get the stares, pointing and rude comments. There are times I reply back to them or just turn my back to them. I heard one lady tell her kid that I had a fungus! I told her that was not true at all. All she had to do was ask me but making up stories to her kids is ridiculous espically when vitiligo can affect anyone at any age and at anytime in their life. How do you handle situations?
Hi;)
How are you?
I greet you
Karolina;))
Hello Kgomotso, thanks for the friend request. I have always wanted to visit South Africa and plan on doing so one day. So how is life treating you with vitiligo and how long have you had it? Welcome to the site and I hope to chat with you again soon. : - )
