About Me:

I have vitiligo and now am dipigmenting. I am doing my arms and legs. I am not doing my face yet, because I have a lot of color still left in my face. I am happy that I am doing this, but I can't lie it can be an emotional roller coaster. This is nothing different than from not dipigmenting. So, this really gives me power in the process. I will one day be pail all over. I think it is normal to worry about what that will be like and will everyone still love me.

    Hey Julie !!!! I have vit for over 25 years. But mine started very early. Good luck with the docs appointment. I hope he/she will prescribe you the whitening cream. What you said about "doing it" just on your hands - makes sense.
    In my case, what I want to do is - if vit spreads vastly on to my face / neck and hands - then I will "do it" just in that area. So far, it is just a few spots on my face and some more on fingers. I hope my present treatment will make the spots go away ))))))

    Hello and Welcome - Julie !!!! Glad you joined in !!!! Click on "forum" and type "depigmentation". There are several discussions on the topic. I am considering depigmentation too - but only as my "last option".
