    Hi Jo... Sallie here, Lulu's mum! Lulu is running the site herself now and has created her own page etc so I am really pleased... but thought I would jump on and reply.
    Lulu has stopped all the multitude of stuff we were using and now we are only apply Elidel to her face at night, everynight.
    Her face has not begun noticeably de-pigmenting and that is great. But the rest of her body has gone crazy... she seems okay with it at the moment though. I think she is hoping to go white now! We might try going to the doctor in Germany which people are raving about. There's another girl doing that this week from sydney so I look forward to their results. Take care, sallie

    I am a kiwi ... living in Sydney. My 9 year old daughter has very severe vitiligo.

    Hi Jo, How are you? Itotally agree with you 100%. All i can say is finally! Up until this point, I haven't had any one to talk to about this.Not anyone who truly understands anyway. So truly i 'm a little relieved. So thanx for talking with me. Well ,we are truly on oppisite sides of the worlds. Your daughter is beautiful by the way. Right now i am using self tanning lotion. But really it makes vitiligo worse. So that is why i won't put it on my face. WHY USE IT THEN RIGHT? Well if i don't use it on my hands my skin is almost transparent and it gets to dry. When i have the lotion on it feels normal.But the lotion doesn't hide the vitiligo at all. Untill i find something better i guess. Have you tried any surgerys or laser treatments? Sometime soon i'm going to india to see a doctor. Everyone says i'm crazy. But i heard that that's where all the late breaking stuff is found for vitiligo. So what i got to lose right? My daughter has one patch on her knee right now. I've got to find something. I can't see her going through what i have it would kill me. Well, it was nice talking to you and thanks. Amy
