About Me:

Just a woman with a very special person in her life that is dealing with vitiligo. I'm hoping to gain knowledge and understanding of the condition and offer the right kind of support. He is looking into the laser treatment and although I'm very excited about the prospect I'm also concerned with side affects such a cancer. I'm not seeking to disuade him but rather just make sure we have all the information possible so he can make educated choices. The more I learn the better we can communicate about it.

    Thank you for asking Cawanda. Yes, I've received some helpful information. Wednesday my friend has his appt. to discuss the excimer laser but he also is looking into Melanocyte-Keratinocyte Cell Transplantation (MKTP). Have you been on this site long?
