Vitiligo Awareness

What i am saying might sound stupid but just a thought. What can be the better media to spread vitiligo awareness than television. and what can be better channel to spread awareness among Kids than Disney Channel. Can we do something like requesting some prime show to have a character in their show  who has vitiligo and educate the audience about it. Can the vitiligo society or related organisation do this. It is not something huge, can be done and best way to spread awareness. what can we do as members to make this happen. your thoughts ?

    I hope you guys are still around on this network. Where did you get the Ayurvedic and homeopathic treatments from and were they effective?

    Nisha,

    That is a great idea to educate and bring awareness to children via disney. I am not sure how Disney channel can be approached, but it would be a good effort to put. btw not sure if they can have a character, but atleast if they can put some advertisement kind of thing that itself will be a good starting point...btw What kind of treatement are you attempting?

      We are doing ayurvedic treatment along with protopic.

      Thanks for the information Nisha, and good luck. Would appreciate if you can share how it works once a while. Also can you please share the website  information of the place where you take ayurveda treatment? Did they say any do's and dont's  on eating and any other acvities like sun exposure etc., ?

      I am also trying homepathy from last week for my daugther along with protopic, hope to see better results.
