My daugther is 5 years old now and has segmental vitiligo from her 8th Month, recently we had moved away from homeopathy treatment after 2 long years with no response....to allopathy treatment and where we had started using tablet named 1) melanocyl and 2) vitibex-kid once a day and also applying a two types of gel altenatively 1) vitibex-gel and 2) vitix....
We are also showing her in sun light for 10-15 mins...mostly we make it during morning hours and around noon.
We have been trying this treatment for last couple of months and could see few patches coming in some areas, but some areas are so stubburn :(...Light at the end of the tunnel...
Docotor advised these gel are not harmful, so can be used for kids..
Thought to share as this may work at your end too.. Also if any one tried the above medications and got any side effect or better response?

How is it going with your treatment. My daughter is 6. She started showing her first patch last summer on her forehead. Now it's on the right side of her face above her lip and jaw line. Also half her eyebrow and eye lashes have turned white.
My daughter is too young to try anything... but just wanted to wish you luck and to keep us updated!
