Since I don't wear make up, the honesty is out front. I've been up and down (more down than up) with one person. The best thing I can say is let it be about who you are as a person and be patient. Don't compromise to be in a relationship. Most people that don't have visible physical flaws have psychological and character flaws. And as in any relationship, you must be in tune with each other on the 3 Fs: Faith, Fidelity, Finances.
