I was wondering for the people who are almost completely white is the color of white unnatural, or is it a normal white color? i wonder if the shades of white are different depending on your natural skin color. any thoughts thanx.

Hi everyone,
Put on a white t-shirt (like I have on in my avatar) and you will see that I (and possibly you) am not pure white.
But it does vary. I have a friend who depigmented and she looks slightly different than me, very normal. I swear sometimes in certain lighting I look almost tan! It's surprising sometimes.

It's the same color as the de-pigmented spots only it's just more widespread. Under certain lighting it looks more yellowish or reddish but still, white. To me, it's not a natural pale, like Nicole Kidman. There are times where I feel like I look like a the kid from The Grunge and other times where I think with this color I can pass for normal.
A lot of people assume that this is my natural color. There are times where people point out how pale I am and I've gotten suggestions to "get a tan."
My sister mentioned the other day that I was the same color as her friend who's Irish. Ha, I am so not Irish!
I used to think I had very white skin as I am very pale if I don't have a tan, until I got vitiligo. Even under my arms, where the sun never goes, you can see a slight difference between the vitiligo spot and my natural color. So going by this observation, I would say that, unless you were born an albino, we all, to some degree have melanocytes that are coloring our skin. It would be interesting to compare vitiligo with someone else. My spots are usually white white white, except for today when I was out in the sun without protection so they are currently red red red!
i think it depends but no matter it is still a unnatural white. If you look in my pics....I have one in a red dress with a white friend and a mixed friend and the white of my skin made me think of the description they gave of the vampires in the Twilight series!!!!!!!!!!!!!
