0 My poem I wrote in 2004 after finding support online Posted by Patricia Stegall on October 27, 2009 at 11:14am “MORE THAN MY VITILIGO” Wherever I may go, so does my Vitiligo. There is no danger, please hold your anger. Beauty can be, more than you see. I have a kind heart, don’t keep us apart. I have so much love, sent from up Above. Love lies in the heart, the two do not part. If you let me come near, you will surely hear, A good friend I can be, won’t you come by me. I have so much to give, so please let me live. Let’s talk to each other, I will not be a bother. I just want to say, you don’t need to stay. I will do you no harm, don’t sound your alarm. It is ‘I’ beneath my skin, there is a lot more within. I can be a real joy, promising not to annoy. I long to have love, not just from Above. But from others here, oh, please come near. I have nothing contagious, I think it its outrageous. To be judged by looks alone, my gifts will be unknown. Please, you won’t have regrets, a kind person never forgets. So just give me a go, what joy you may know! Oh, what joy you surely will know! For you are much more than your Vitiligo. Written by Patricia Copyright © February 2004 You need to be a member of Vitiligo Friends to add comments!
