So yes this may seem incredibly silly but being a 23 yr. old single girl I'm worried about how my spots will affect my dating life... My friends/family are supportive but living in the world we live in I find it hard to think I'll still be thought of as attractive to men(Lord if I ever meet a real man ha) I'm just worried. Thoughts? Stories?

  • Not trying to be negative when I say this but it affected my dating life extremely but not in the way you would think.  It's almost like it has halted me from being close to anyone so in the beginning things are fine but I stop myself from being close because of what I feel about myself which makes things extremely difficult and nearly impossible to have a meaningful long term relationship.  Just trying to give you another way to look at it, probably safe saying it will affect you more than your partner or potential partner.
    • he's probably come and gone several times. the human race isnt ready for him.
    • Im just gona put this out there were all talking but what the hell happened to Jililian? are you still there girl how has these posts stories made you feel?
  • hmm lets say it was a huge change regarding everything , but its a long journey , so we must enjoy life  and the right people will come eventually
  • May I had?  I have been in relationships and for most, its not a problem, I am more worried about my Vit than anyone else...But I hope to get married and its very hard finding someone serious enough!
  • Try Roya's tanning lotion....I can't wait to try it....especially on my face!!!!!
    • i heard spray tan booths and self tanners lotion contains somcething liek dhtc-18 or some wierd number and that makes vit worse but please explain Roya's lotion for me and wats good : )
  • I feel the same way as you do because face is the first thing that people see. But there are some enlightened people out there who do not care about looks.

  • wow Aaron really long post :D well to make long story short.I live in Serbia now and going there on college and my parents are in Croatia near Vukovar :)

and the only truth about vitiligo is about accepting it and having confidence :) (Im still trying about that last one)

    • So did you just move to Serbia for school and were born in Croatia? yea I cant say Ive totally achieved both but no matter what dont let it stop you from doing things you absolutly LOVE, and for you if you worried about love well I know it is old saying but realllll love is blind sometimes you need some looks for physical animal attraction, but I dont care how bad I feel when my vit goes crazy and I loose some more I have to stay positive as you should too, adn we should still count our blessings even knowing i would trader a couple to get rid of vit ; ) but then think we would have never met! add one to blessings : ) hahahaha
