Hello Everyone

Hello Everyone. My name is Megan. I got vitiligo at 13 years old, it has progressed quite a bit since then. I am on here just looking to talk to people who too know what I am going through. None of my family or friends have it, so I feel as though sometimes they dont quite understand how having this skin condition makes you feel. Thanks Megan

    Hi Megan,

    Welcome, I started just a week ago. This site is helpful........

    I got my first spot when I was 19, woke up one morning and there it was

    across my knuckles on my right hand. Nobody in my family has it.

    I thought at first it would go away and then as the years went on, it got worse.

    Alot of people do not know I have it because I am really good with cover up..

    In the summer I use self tanning products and other products.

    Ciao Megan, welcome to the site...I joined only a couple of months ago when my little Diego was diagnosed and it has been of gr8 help! You will find here plenty of support and adivse!

    Hello Megan! im 14 and have had vit since i was about 4. i recently found this site around thanksgiving time. i love it!!!! it has helped me through the ups nd downs with the vit :). i know it will help u a bunch!!!

    hello megan glad you are a member i can uderstand what you are going thru. I come from a big family and guess what out of seven sisters and one brother I'm the the only one with vitiligo.  some times i just look at it as another race of pepole, such as black, white, hispanic,indian and then vitiligo hope this make you smile!

    Welcome :)  I got vitiligo when I was 11 and I'm now 20, sort of similar to you. This website is really nice because everyone does know exactly what you're going through and how you feel!

    Thanks Megan you just said what had to say & have experienced these years ..same here started in my childhood years ...

    I too am only person around who has it and none in my family have it (thank god enough for this cauz i can't see anyone in so much pain when this starts/begin) .
