Black Pepper??

I heard that peperine may help vitiligo, so I have been using pure black pepper oil, mixed into a skin cream. I've ordered bioperine pills, and am going to try them, according to recommended dosage. has anyone been using this treatment? (it might already be in this forum, but i haven't taken time to search for it yet.)

  • Dang, never heard of that, but who knows, right?! I keep hearing a lot about Chickapees, (sp?) but it has to be a certain kind... anyway, might be worth researching... ;D
  • Has anybody on this site here had any actual improvement with peperine? Sometimes i think it's hard to tell, and it probably takes a couple of months minimum for a change to take place. Is that what you're finding? Then again, one of the changes that it might have thais that it stops the spreading! I'd really like to hear back from everybody in a couple of months of trying peperine. I'd like to try it too.

    I think any form of psoralea whether you're taking pills of it, powder internally or externally, lots of celery and figs, or oil containing it will all work. Then it's a matter of getting those UVB rays in at the right in the right way. Probably the UVb light machines are the best idea. I'm even coming to that conclusion in Hawaii where if I'm out in the sun at 11 - 1 when the rays are strongest, I will fry.
  • Where do you get the black pepper oil to buy, because I cant find it anywhere.
  • Hello, I have heard of using peperine for Vit. I read about it on the Mayo Clinic website. Could you please tell me where you ordered it from. And definitely keep posting your results!
    thanks so much
  • I ordered the oil please let me know how it works for you !
    • so have you been using the pepper? i haven't really noticed much change for me....
    • ok I will. I will say that where I've been using it, I haven't noticed a spread at least, and maybe it's not as obvious? but my vit spreads sporadically and a few days of cloudy weather can make my skin so fair it can be hard to see some places, so it's oh do challenging to figure out if something's helping.(btw, you don't look like you have vit at all!)
      • Hi All;
        Where can I buy the Black pepper Oil? and also has anyone used the Vitiligo cover lotion? I orderd one and it makes the skin very orangish?????????????!!!!!! what do you guys use to cover?
        • dermablend is good
  • i've been crushing 1 pill of bioperine and mixing it with a moisturizer and applying once a day. It's only been about a week or so, no results yet, maybe i should up it to twice a day. Also, i have been mixing in psoralea corylofolia with it too.
