I've had Vitiligo for some ten years or so. I recently had a blood clot in one leg, and one of the follow-up tests that they did was for Anticardiolipin--which the doctor described as an autoimmune disorder. Apparently, I've tested positive for Anticardiolipin (they do two blood tests to make sure), but aside from needing to take Coumadin for the rest of my life, they didn't tell me much more...
Has anyone else had any experience with this, or know of any relationship to Vitiligo?

Hi Steve. I've not had any experience of this particular condition, but I guess it will be linked to vitiligo as another autoimmune disorder. I think the anticardiolipin antibodies are also seen in lupus sufferers. I also read that the anticardiolipin antibodies IgA (immunoglobulin A) are also present in celiac sufferers. I know some members here have vitiligo and lupus/celiacs. Seems like there are some big links hidden in there somewhere...
