About Me:

I was a very talented athlete... High school was suppose to be it. Suppose to be the dream. Everyone thought that I was going to win a state championship in football and lead the team. However, I'm going through social dilemmas eith vitiligo and dropped out of every sport from football, to basketball to spiriting track.. Thinking about bleaching and getting sprsy tans... I'm 15 years old... Any advice?

    Hello and welcome !!!! Glad you joined our group !!!! Don't give up on the sports that you love. Speak with the trainers. Explain to them about vitiligo. Tell them why you dropped out. Tell them you would like to come back. I am sure they will understand and support you even more.

    I guess, We all have gone through these social dilemma stuff at some or other point in life. Trust me, it will make u stronger and determined to do better in life. ALL THE BEST!!!

    You CANNOT let Vitiligo control who you are and what you do.  I speak publicly as part of my job to large audiences, and I've turned my Vitiligo into something that sets me apart.  Like you I let it really get me down at the start.  But this is YOUR life and you can be proud of who you are.

    You'll find most everyone here understands what you are going through, so let us support you.
