  Protopic worked on some of the spots on my face. Many people on this site use it for face vitiligo. Steroid cream is only suitable for small spots. And, yes, it did work for me.

  Nobody else in my family has it either. I am the first. If you browse through previous "discussions" here, you will see many treatment ideas. As for me, I use Protopic Ointment for spots on the face, and steroid cream for smaller spots on my fingers. Most of my vitiligo is untreated. I also take vitamin B12 and Folic Acid.

  Hi Terry !!! I think it was probably the antibiotic AND the exposure to toxic chemicals that triggered your vitiligo. Does anyone else in your family have vitiligo? I think you said you have vitiligo now for about 20 years ..... did you try any medicine?

  Hey Terry !!! Sorry for the delayed reply !!! Good to "talk" with you too !!! :) I have vitiligo on my face and fingers and elbows and many many other places. All of the big patches are covered by clothes !!! I wonder what caused you major allergy problems ?? Was it food ?? Or some medicine gone bad ?? Good day !!!
