  Hey Ronnie, it's always nice to hear back from you too :)... you are absolutely right! although it bums me out when strangers keep staring at me as if I am some kind of an exotic creature. They are always welcome to approach me and ask about my skin condition, which rarely happens to be frank, but sadly the majority of them choose to keep staring. Luckily, I've developed an effective strategy to counter these oddly excessive stares. My strategy is to STARE RIGHT BACK AT THEM :D until I see the look of shame on their faces. It's been proven to be very effective and , sometimes even, empowering! I know this might sound funny and/or rude, but it's my only way of coping with staring strangers :)

  Hey Ronnie, thanks for the kind words :) I think we all are special in our own ways. I'm yet to master the art (yes it's an art) of embracing Vitiligo as a way of life but I'll never stop trying until I get there. It gets quite challenging at times, however, I am thankful for what ever life throws at me for it only would make my life a little bit more interesting, hahaha.

  Hey Ronnie, I'm glad you have found this website. I could probably learn a lot from your experience with Vitiligo. I could probably say that I had somewhat a reasonable adolescence. But I've always had this feeling of being the odd one, I'm sure you could relate to that. My goal for the time being is to embrace Vitiligo and make it a part of who I am instead of trying to fight back :)
