About Me:

I have had vitiligo since I was 7 years old. I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was 24. Neither of the autoimmune disorders run in my family. I have tried numerous topical agents, such as Protopic and Elta lite tar ( first topical tried) with no results. Within the past 2 years, the vitiligo has spread to my face and is currently on my chin and eyelids. Along with the new spots on my face, I've noticed that I have developed hyper-pigmentation in areas as well. I would say that I have it on about 60% of my body. Stress is what I have found to make it spread.

    hello melissa. i to have tried just about everything with no sucsess. luckily i have no spots on my face. and i think your right about the stress. just try and believe your a beautiful woman and whats on the outside of us is in no way a reflection of whats on the inside of us!! i wish you all the best dear  i really mean that.  jeff....
