About Me:

I first noticed my vitiligo in 2005 not long after having laser hair removal. I had a severe reaction to the laser that caused my full legs and bikini are to swell with red raised welts. I was told it was too much heat for body to take in. It may just be a coincidence however I now have vitiligo on my legs and under arms where the laser was used. I also had laser on my chest to correct skin tone and that was the first place the vitiligo appeared. Since then it has spread on my shoulders and back. I have tried numerous remedies and nothing has worked to date. I appreciate this website and forum as a place to connect with people dealing with the same issues and sharing ideas and support.
