About Me:

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Our nest is empty of children but, full of love and happiness. We have three children and four grandchildren. I spend much of my time searching genealogical records as I grow our families' trees. I also help others find their genealogical connections. I serve as a Director of the Family History Center in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. I am not employable due to an accident in 1998 that resulted in Traumatic Brain Injury. I have a very high level of intelligence, just cannot always use it when it is needed! I deal with Anxiety Attacks, Shingles and Post-herpetic Neuralgia which, takes a lot out of me. The Vitiligo has slowly crept up on me. So far, it only affects my hans and my forearms. I am working on using the pH Miracle Living diet to find healing and repair with this and my other conditions. I base all of my health - body and sprit - on the health code I firmly believe in called the Word of Wisdom. Early on in my life, in the late 60's, I practiced the Zen Macrobiotic way of eating which fits within my basic health code. I try to stay close to eating pesca-vegetarian type foods. However, I do eat some beef - preferably the grass-fed, antibiotic/hormone free beef. I usually eat this a little in winter and occasionally throughout the year. I do not digest beef well and usually eat it pretty raw for better digestion. I do try to follow up with 2 liters of soda water when I eat beef for my body's comfort. I am currently working towards having a diet following the pH Miracle Living diet which fits perfectly with the Word of Wisdom. My husband and I start the day with a "green drink" and repeat that at lunch. Our evening meal is usually vegetables with some form of whole grain. we drink tons of water and try to make it good alkaline water.
