About Me:

I have had vitiligo since the early 1980's, I have just turned 50 years of age. With time I am getting more used to having vitiligo but it is partially due to it spreading so far over my arms, legs and body that I really dont have much pigmented area left. However I do cover up on my face and neck as am aware of people staring if not covered. I like to think that I am a happy, bright, intellegent person and love making new friends :)

    Hi janet....i got used to mine too overtime....don't know what I'd do without camouflage cream though, I would feel too self conscious exposing my face, especially in the summer months...you live in the next town from me, I'm not far from burtonwood...have you found any good cover up that's easy to apply ?

    Hi janet. I am new to this fantastic website. I am 47 and was diagnosed 2 years ago. I was devastated and felt very isolated until now. Mine is spreading rapidly and I do have some very black moments. Be lovely to chat to you.
