Thank you! I don't really know how to work this yet. My daughter had a spot of vitiligo show up about 5 years ago. Since then it hashould gotten bigger slowly over time. Last month is when I got her diagnosis of vitiligo. I had been told previously it was a birth mark, and another doctor told me it was a skin fungus. Not knowing what she had the past 5 years I didn't keep sunscreen on her like I should. We are at the pool or the river a lot throughout the summer. Since her diagnosis, I have kept software 50+ on her at all times, she wears a wide brim hat at the beach, and sunglasses. Her doctor wrote her a prescription for Protopic. I am going to start using it today. Does anyone else have vitiligo in just one spot? Can it be managed to stay just in that area? Anyone have any success getting one spot to go away with treatment? My daughter is 10 and I would love any advice from others who have already been through this. Thank you all!! :)
