I am looking into specialists in the KC area as well. I've had one name recommended to me by a person whose family member has vitiligo. Dr. Bertram Caruthers Jr. is the dermatologist. He is a listed physician on one of the vitiligo foundation pages. Just thought I'd pass the info along. Best of luck to you in finding a successful treatment option.
Hello all, I am 27 and just recently diagosed with vitiligo. It's really scary for me and I worry that it's going to have a negative impact on both my professional and person life. I'm looking into any possible treatment out there and willing to try anything. Are there any vitiligo specialist in Kansas City? I'm going to a doctor at St. Luke's on the Plaza but I get the feeling that she doesn't have much experience with vitiligo. She has perscribed me to protopic, which I see has a lot of positive feeback on this site but I'm curious to know if any of you are seeing a particular doctor in Kansas City that specializes in vitiligo.
