Bai Dian Feng Jiao Nang capsules

If you go into a Chinese Herbal store (at least I've found this to be true in London) and ask about treatments for vitiligo, they will likely suggest Bai Dian Feng Jiao Nang. I've been taking it as directed for at least a couple of months and have found no improvement. So, I won't be renewing my shipment. The point is not to dissuade anyone from trying it. I hope it does work for you. Just didn't for me. The box says the ingredients are: Radix Astragali Flos Carthami Radix Angelicae Sinesis Rhizoma Chuanxiong Cortex Dectamni Radicis Radix Lithospermi Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae Fructus Tribuli

  • Hi everyone, I have also been taking Bai Dian Feng Jiao Nang at the recommended dosage (6-8 tablets each day!) for about a month. I have yet to notice any improvement but I know most treatments suggest you should continue for at least 6 months, as it can take this long, or even longer, to start working. I decided to add them to my regime but will also be stopping when they run out. Cheers, Gem
    • Hi Gemma,

I tried a Chinese herbal treatment a few years ago (I've had vitiligo all my life) but it was a topical preparation. I had to apply it to the vitiligo patches and then get some sun exposure. The first (and only) time I used it i sat out for 20 minutes on a dullish spring day and got horribly burned. To make matters worse, there was no improvement to my vitilgo either!

However I am now getting excellent results (much to my delight and total surprise since nothing else has ever worked for me!) using some nutritional supplements and UVB. If anyone would like full details of my treatment, I have created a website to share my story at www.vitiligoprotocol.co.uk

Good luck to everyone who is looking for an effective treatment,

      Caroline :)
