  • Hi my name Lana king I have vitiligoiwood like to join group in dover del I live in middletown delaware with my husband thank you lana

  • Went to the Dermatologist last week to have some funny spots looked at on my face. Said they were "just pre cancer" cells.  He had a new procedure that would not bring on Vitiligo. He covered my face with this cream. Put me under some funky light for 16 minutes. Said the pre cancer cells would absorb the cream and kill the cells. Would not affect other cells.  Had to stay in the house for two days so as not to activate the cream. Looked like I had a skin peal. But, It did what he said. Most of the pre cancer cells are gone. Only two left. I suspect he will have to take care of them some other way.  Hope you find this helpful.

  • Hi  All,  Glad to be a part of this site.  It's nice to have a place to connect with others that have vitiligo.

  • Please, support the petition to designate June 25 as Vitiligo World Day and save millions of people worldwide from social isolation and persecution. It would be appreciated if you could give every member of your family or group an opportunity for signing. http://www.25june.org/

  • Check out the event page.  We are also working on getting a summer camp for children

  • Hi I live in Cecil County MD and have a 6.5yr old daughter with Vitiligo. I would love to get in touch with any children in Delaware that have Vit. Emily is really struggling with her growing spots lately and I want her to know that she is not alone. I am very disappointed that I found this group to late to attend the conference you just had. I am definitly interested in going next year. Do you have a website with more info on your group?
  • I am having a problem copying the dvd's will contact Gary and let you all know what we come up with. Once again thank all the supporters who came to the event. I will be offline for a few days do to personal business, but will thinking of everyone.
    lol to all.
  • Barbara: I agree with Will. The conference was a success. The presenters did a wonderful job... Enjoyed every minute. Was great to meet the group and your granddaughter. What a "gem" she is.... Thanks again.
  • Barbara -- The Second Annual Delaware Vitiligo Support and Awareness Conference was a complete success. Great presenters, information and discussion. Your usual terrific job. I thought the suggestion of screening children for Vitiligo as they enter school age was genius. Parents would then be alerted and could take appropriate action for their child. Looking forward to conference number 3 next year.
  • We Will be seeing you at the Luncheon! (My husband & I)

Changes

Hello All:   I am 68, and have had Vitiligo for about 25, 26 years.  My face has changed 3 times, has this happened to anyone.  My body has stayed the same just my face keeps changing.   I would like to have a Vitiligo Conference and would like to know if anyone from this group would be interested in coming and telling their story.
