I have been getting treatment for my vitiligo on my face using the XTRAC laser and after only 11 treatments, I am beginning to see hyperpigmentation in the lesions. A few of the lighter spots I had have completely gone away. It is very exciting to see that something is actually working. If anyone has any questions about it I will be happy to share my experiences and I will periodically post new advances in my treatments. I will also try and upload some pics of my progress. I am also taking ginko biloba, B12, folic acid, vitamins c & d. Also, every night before bed I have been using Protopic ointment as well. Thanks and good luck!!!

Glad to hear something actually works! Do you have Vitiligo on your hands? And if so have the XTRAC treatments been effective at repigmenting your hands? Thanks John
Wow! Yes, I just heard the ad on the radio a few weeks ago for XTRAC. I am very interested in learning more.. I have had vit for about 18 years so it is on most of my body. Does insurance cover it? Does it have any side effects?
Most treatment in along period has side effects......It Worth to take some risk than having vitilig...This treatment helps some ppl for me the repigment was temporary.
@Are you still taking Ginkigo bialoba..just to inform u many vitis complain about it ...We dont need that much pills.
Hello I was reading this mail and I have tried it too even the uva/uvb light but both only covers the pigment areas but do tend to appear in other parts of the body. They either start on your feet, eyes, elbows, lips, hands, underarms, and private areas. At this time im trying this next step from the Merry clinic it's called Vitilax along with Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid but the pills are alot and it treats for about 3 months in my case but you would have to proceed with more treatment if skin is or already spread. But im crossing my fingers also but to say the truth it bothers me too but I just say I got burned.HAHA But to just give a heads up try to stay away from direct sunlight for long period of times because it can interrupt the meds at times.
I have also been getting laser all over my body now for 11 months. It is definitely repigmenting me! I had bad white spots all over. You can read my story on my blog at : vitiligovictim.blogspot.com
My daughter has had her 13th Xtrac laser treatments. Progress is slow on the areas that are being treated but is helping. Our insurance covers 60 treatments. 30 dollars copay a week. Each xtrac laser treatment without insurance costs $400.00 each treatment. She is also using the protopic 2x's daily. Good luck.
I have recently chosen to stop the Protopic and am using the Merry clinics vitilax capsules 2x a day and the skin oil 1x a day. Seems to be going ok. I will keep you updated on progress.
does your insurance cover eximer laser treatment? my dermatologist wants me to do it but my insurance is saying they wont cover it...did you have this problem and what did you do?

Great!
Additional suggestion:
1-Check digestive, allergies, adrenal and thyroid issues (might be the root cause).
2-Consider pseudocatalase cream 30 min before Xtrac.
3-Xtrac can be replaced by a 9w hand held lamp later on.
4- Consider replacing the supplements above for Viti-Nutrient (provided by Marry Clinics too)
