Vitiligo + body Inked ????

recently I got an interest to get inked on my shoulders , however I am not sure is there any side effects with getting tattooed when I have vitiligo ?

any thoughts guys ?

        Hey here is a pic, only get it done if ur vit is stable though just incase it causes progression

          Oh that's a bigger one . mine was completely stagnant till I moved to china last October . suddenly it started to show some spots on my fingers I was worried and started Chinese medicine . now again it controlled and spots disappeared quickly and back to normal .

          Looks like I have to delay getting inked for some more time .

    If you can stabilize/reverse it with diet and ssupplementation, getting tattoos after a while shouldnt be a problem. But if you were to get one while your vit is still progressive or could be progressive, then it would probably aggravate it.

    Tattooing is not good for vitiligo, the vitiligo may spread. Be careful
