Maybe arthritis causes vitiligo...
There is a theory that vitiligo is caused by a protein called MIA, that dettaches melanocytes (www.researchforvitiligo.com also attached paper).
That said, find attached a second paper that correlates MIA with arthritis too.

Yes, but not all of it. I thought vit causes other autoimmune diseases.
Or maybe one doesn't have to cause the other, they are just autoimmune disorders that don't have any causative relationship to each other.
That's always possible too. I was just trying to find a connection between them.
I know. My guess it that other diseases (including arthrits) cause vitiligo instead.
It seems to be the consequence, not the cause.
For example, in the paper case (arthritis), it generates MIA because of the swollen joints. MIA causes vitiligo. So, arthritis causes vitiligo.
