I have 2 round bald spots on my head, 1 area in my privates and loss of all my
body hair. I never need to shave my armpits or my legs. I have no hair on my
arms. The areas on my head bother me some, but so far I am able to comb my hair
over these and use hair spray.
Vitiligo turned my hair white at my crown and temple areas when I was about 12
years of age. I only have a few eyebrow hairs, which has caused me to use
eyeshadow to compensate.
How about yourself, want to share how it is for you?
Oh, I am now completely depigmented by the natural progression of my vitiligo
over a 50 year span of my life. I am glad to be one color now, very fair, is
what I call it. Because when I put a white blouse on my skin is not white.
Talk to you later.
Hugs, Patty
No I don't, but a girl on my soccer team has both. Her hair also started to turn white as well but i think that is more a symptom of vitiligo than alopecia, yes? She wears a wig and has a few spots. I think auto immune disorders run together :s As I have allergies, and morphea as well. Fun for us!
